LASIK info

Welcome to www.lasik-opticare.com !

Lasik is the acronym for Laser-Assisted in Situ Keratomileusis, a type of refractive laser eye surgery performed by ophthalmologists for correcting myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism.[1] The procedure is generally preferred to photorefractive keratectomy, PRK, (also called ASA, Advanced Surface Ablation) because it requires less time for the patient's recovery, and the patient feels less pain, overall.

(However, there are instances where PRK/ASA is medically indicated as a better alternative to LASIK) Many patients choose LASIK as an alternative to wearing corrective eyeglasses or contact lenses. ( Source Wikipedia )

Is another Bruce Ivins lurking in a biolab?
There could be another Bruce Ivins lurking somewhere in a biodefense laboratory. These research facilities have expanded so quickly since the anthrax attacks in 2001 that the government cannot keep close tabs on the sites or their thousands of scientists. Security procedures are designed more to prevent accidents than to deal with security-cleared scientists who control their own lab.
